candle care
We put a lot of love and care into our candles and we hope you continue to care for them when you receive them!
1. On your first few burns, allow the wax to melt close to the edge of the vessel. The time this takes will depend on the size of your candle. Don't worry if there is a bit of wax hang-up on the sides - it will catch up down the jar.
2. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn on a solid, heat safe surface, away from children and pets, open windows and fans.
3. Trim your wick before every use. Mushrooming (carbon build-up) is a common property of cotton wicks. Trimming regularly will reduce soot and ensure a healthy burn, extending the life of your candle.
4. Stop burning when 1/2" wax remains in the vessel.
5. Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
