How to Make Your Candle Last Longer

How to Make Your Candle Last Longer

We put a lot of love and care into every candle we make, and we hope you’ll give yours the same care when it comes home to you. A little candle care goes a long way in creating a clean, even burn and helping your candle last longer.

Let It Burn Evenly

During the first few burns, allow the wax to melt close to the edge of the vessel. The time this takes will vary depending on the size of your candle. If a little wax remains along the sides, don’t worry. It will catch up as you continue to burn your candle.

Trim Your Wick

Before each use, trim your wick to remove any carbon build-up, or “mushrooming.” This helps reduce soot, encourages a cleaner burn, and extends the life of your candle.

Burn Safely

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always place your candle on a solid, heat-safe surface away from children, pets, open windows, and fans.

Know When to Stop

For the best results, never burn your candle for more than four hours at a time. Once approximately ½ inch of wax remains, it’s time to retire your candle.

A little care means more time to enjoy the scents, glow, and quiet moments your candle was made for.
